By using the Letters & Lore website and subscribing to our service, you agree to the following terms.
The Service
Letters & Lore provides a serialised fiction subscription delivered by post. Each subscription includes 24 letters delivered over 12 months (two per month), along with accompanying inserts and keepsakes.
Subscriptions & Billing
Monthly subscriptions are billed each month and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you'll receive all letters you've paid for.
Prepaid plans (The Full Journey and Full Journey + Keepsake Box) are charged in full at the time of purchase and are non-refundable once the first letter has shipped.
Gift Subscriptions
Gift subscriptions are purchased for a recipient and begin on a date chosen by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for providing a valid shipping address. Gift subscriptions follow the same terms as standard subscriptions.
Shipping
Letters are posted fortnightly. Free shipping is included for UK and US addresses. International shipping is available at additional cost. Delivery times are estimates and may vary.
Intellectual Property
All content — including stories, illustrations, photographs, and design elements — is the intellectual property of Letters & Lore and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
Letters & Lore provides the service 'as is.' We are not liable for delays caused by postal services, force majeure, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
